- General Access to the Site
We do not currently require you to provide Personal Information in order to have access to general information available on our Site.
- Transactiv Account
In order to provide you with certain services given through the Site, you may be required to create a Transactiv Account (“Account”) and provide us with information such as your name, screen name, email address, industry, role, URL, and a password that you will use for your Account and other specified information. We shall then send you an email to your email address to instruct you how to confirm your registration. You may also choose to provide us with additional information for use in connection with your Account, such as your photo, birthday, interests, location, and/or a short bio. You are able to log-in to your Account at any time and edit your Personal Information and settings. It is your responsibility to keep your password confidential. If you are sharing a computer with anyone you should always log-out before leaving the Site to protect access to your information from subsequent users.
- Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
Some of our Site pages utilize “cookies” and other tracking technologies. A “cookie” is a small text file that may be used, for example, to collect information about Site activity. - The Way We Use Personal Information

To the extent that you do provide us with Personal Information, Transactiv wishes to maintain accurate and complete Personal Information. If you have an Account, you may log-in to your personal profile at any time and add information, delete information or correct any incorrect information we have. The security of your Personal Information is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits customers of Transactiv who are California residents to request certain information regarding its disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that we are only required to respond to one request per customer each year.
